Shoe box design for the world's thread pumps brand "Oito"

The graphic team of World Platform Service Co., Ltd., a member of the World Group, was in charge of the shoe box package design for the world's yarn pump brand "Oito".

"Oito" aims to create a new type of shoe that blends into everyday life and is close to a seamless lifestyle, such as a stress-free and comfortable texture, a design that will be loved for a long time, and easy maintenance by yourself.

In addition, one of the characteristics of "Oito" is the commitment to Made in Japan.
We put the spotlight on the goodness of traditional Japanese materials such as Japanese paper thread and lacquer, and even though domestic production continues to decline, we are particular about producing at a domestic manufacturing site that knows the feet of Japanese women. In addition, based on the ethical concept unique to Japan called “Mottainai”, we reviewed the packaging, parts, and production process from scratch.

 

Inside the box, the shoes should be neatly aligned from the front. Designed in a shape that prevents the shoes from moving.

In designing the shoe box, the Oito brand manager felt disappointed when he received a shoe delivery product, saying, "I was disappointed when I took out a box that didn't give me a sense of love for shoes from a large cardboard box."

When designing the shoe box, I kept in mind to create a package design that is light, compact, and expresses my love for shoes.

The material used is almost 100% recycled paper. I used the paper that is usually used for the inside of cardboard. The color varies depending on the lot, so that you can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

The inside of the box is designed so that the shoes can be seen neatly aligned from the front, and the shape is such that the shoes do not move.

When you open the lid, you can recognize the message and the name of the producer.
